PREPARE FOR THE MIGRATION
When will the migration happen?
All changes will happen from 1st to 15th september.

From 15 September 6:00 PM, access to Seidenspinner environment (emails, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive etc.) will not be possible anymore.

From 18th September morning, you will be able to connect to your new idverde environment
After the migration, will I still have access to my emails? And what about other data / applications?
We will ensure that you can retrieve your major data, such as:
- Your email history, contacts, and meetings
- Chat history from Teams
- Posts from Teams
- Documents that are stored in the Teams or SharePoint spaces you are used to work in
- Documents you have stored in your individual OneDrive storage space
However, the following data WILL NOT be migrated:
- Outlook signature
- Outlook redirection /forwarding rules
- Outlook email categories
- Quick Steps in Outlook
- Outlook delegated access
- Data stored in Yammer
- Videos stored in Stream
- Any Microsoft Forms, Power BI, Power App or Power Automate that you may have created.
- Bookmarks / favorites from your web browser
What do I need to do before migration?
There are a few things you'll need to do before the migration:
- Ensure that in your Seidenspinner environment (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) is synced to the server before the migration starts. This ensures that your changes, for example to emails, folders, chat etc. will be considered in the migration.
- If applicable for you, take snapshots of important (recurring) meetings, your email signature and defined email categories. Store those pictures on your local PC so that you can after migration more easily setup this information again. You might also copy your email signature to a Word file (on your local PC) so that you can easily re-create your email signature after the migration by pasting it back to Outlook.
- If you are using Outlook delegated access, create a snapshot of the settings so that you can after migration more easily set up this information again.
- If you are using Microsoft “To-Do” application, create a snapshot of the tasks so that you can after migration more easily setup this information again.
- Please note that the migration covers only Microsoft Outlook, but not Microsoft Teams, OneDrive or SharePoint. If you are using these applications, please ensure you backup important data before Friday 21 July 2023 6:00 PM afternoon.
- If you are using any other Microsoft applications than Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, OneNote, please make sure that you save / backup your data i.e., to your local PC to re-create it easily after the migration in the new idverde environment.
- Please do NOT use USB sticks for backup as this is not compliant with security and data privacy rules.
After migration, will I still have access to original tenant documents and applications?
No, you won’t. As we are unifying with idverde company, access to previous environment documents and applications will be terminated after migration.
